I'm a Pink Floyd junkie. Anything left on the cutting room floor I'll listen to. I like hearing them because it gives a background on how they were developed, who wrote what, and so forth. I think it's interesting that Roger rewrote the lyrics to both Comfortably Numb and Young Lust, as well as his extended vocal contribution to Young Lust. Comfortably Numb is a perfect example of how those two collaborated. Roger's verses are sung over his demo, and I can see David's chorus and guitar solos are his. The song is like two in one. It provides a contiguous Waters Wall theme along with some upbeat contributions from Gilmour.
Have you heard the Money demo?
